Seriously?

Really?  Seriously?  How has it been that I have not posted a single thing since September?  How come nobody complained or asked where we disappeared to?  Either we have no one reading the blog or  those reading it know just how busy we were the last 2 months....  I'm hoping for the latter.  Because if no one is reading, then I have ZERO motivation to go back and catch up on the missed activities - Boo at the Zoo, Halloween, first haircuts, 2nd Birthday, 2 year well-check and stats, 2 year professional pictures and in a few more days, Thanksgiving.  Of course, with pictures still in the camera, I get to keep using that as my excuse for procrastinating.  I think Paul said at last count (at the end of the birthday party) there were a few hundred pictures he had to get off the camera.  Yikes!!  And since he is in charge of all things camera/picture related, I can only ask (nicely of course...) for him to hurry up.  :D

In the meantime....we got new cell phones last weekend and have been playing around with the cameras on them and the cool FX Camera app.  You choose the "style" of picture you want before you take it and the app will process your picture to look like a toy camera pic, polaroid pic, fish eye or andy warhol.  It's really cool and addicting when you start taking pictures in the different styles.  Here's a few sample pictures...

Ok, nothing fancy here, just a cute picture of Amelia playing in her kitchen.

Here's Penelope in for her close-up.

Our oldest "child", standing guard at the gate so he doesn't miss a thing (polariod style - coloring and white around edges look so authentic)

Both girls just busy playing with their Little People toys (in toy camera style - I like the unusual coloring that this style of picture has).

Funny thing - Grandma Clopton got the girls those aprons for their birthday and considering how I never wear one and am pretty sure Grandma doesn't either, I cannot figure out where they learned that they should always wear it when they play "kitchen".  Maybe it's just the dress-up part that they really like....   :)

I check your blog often, so you wait to put up a post when I leave home!! Anyway, saw it today and I like the new pictures of the girls. That is odd about the apron thing. Maybe they need other dress up garments for their playtime?
