Naughty or Nice?

It looks like someone just told Amelia and Penelope that they are on the "Naughty List" and don't get anything from Santa this year...



Seriously, though, the picture is so sad. I kind of feel like a bad Mom for making them sit on his lap when they were so clearly hating it (look at those arms reaching for Mommy and Daddy!). But we had to at least try... Our small town has an annual Christmas tree lighting and then Santa visits the local hardware store for pictures. Paul and I thought that before we venture to the mall and wait in a long line and pay a bunch of money, we'd test the waters with a little more low-key Santa visit closer to home. One quick glance at this picture

and I think we made the right decision, don't you... There will be no mall Santa this year!
