Happy Birthday to my girls! I cannot believe it has been a year...
Amelia and Penelope - I look at your newborn pictures and videos and have a hard time remembering when you were so small (but at the same time, it feels like we just brought you home a few weeks ago). I thought you were both so tiny and fragile and I was afraid to even change your diapers fearing I might hurt you. I made Daddy change the first few. I was just too nervous! But you were both actually so strong and healthy and grew so fast.
And just look at you now, one short year later... Some days it can bring tears to my eyes. It won't be long now before you are officially toddlers. But you will always be my babies, my little girlies.
I can't really remember what I did without you both (except maybe sleep more LOL). It certainly wasn't anything all that important. I love you so so much and that love continues to grow with every passing day. You are my heart and my true joy in life. I would do absolutely anything for you two. Just please please please, don't go and grow up too fast. I don't want to miss a thing! Happy First Birthday! Love you, Mommy
