I must admit, I'm feeling a bit like a bad Mom today... I was catching up on some of my favorite Mommy blogs and saw lots of cute kids in their Easter best. That is when I realized that I totally forgot to take pictures of my girls in their cute Easter dresses. :( And we didn't give them their little baskets until after their nap and by that time, they were in their comfy play clothes. Thankfully, we are having our Easter dinner with the Clopton family next weekend, so I will at least have to a 2nd chance to put them in their dresses and take pictures with their baskets. And there is talk that Grandma Clopton might even have an egg hunt for them.... So I will get to post some Easter pics eventually. Better late than never! :D
Our Easter weekend was pretty quiet but that's OK. Paul had to work all day Saturday and then on Sunday we went to church and in the late afternoon, we took Amelia and Penelope to the local park. We had the place to ourselves and we got to just let them run free. It was their first real playground experience and they had a GREAT time! At times, they were just running in circles around the equipment. I can't wait to start scouting out more of the NW Columbus parks so we can find some favorites to enjoy throughout the summer. We did learn one very important thing - 2 toddlers at the park requires 2 adults. They were constantly going in opposite directions! I took a ton of pictures with my phone (we have sold our 2 best point-in-shoot cameras and are in the process of ordering a new one so the phone will have to work for now). Here are a few of my favorites...

Amelia loved picking up wood chips. Only a couple ended up in the mouth. Most of them she wanted to hand to me (one at a time).

Penelope seemed a bit more fearless. She wanted to try out everything. And she kept climbing up the steps to the big kid's stuff. That was scary for Mommy...

Both girls loved the slide, but Amelia especially. Paul would set them on it about half way up and then help them "slide" down. Amelia always looked concerned at first but would have the biggest smile at the end.

Penelope taking one of her many turns on the slide.
Happy Spring! Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!
